Nature and relaxation around the campsite in Belloc in Ariège

Located 4 km from Le Roc Del Rey** campsite, Le Lac de Montbel is an artificial reservoir fed by the Hers. Nestled on an area of 570 hectares on agricultural land spread over Ariège, Aude and Haute-Garonne. Fed by the clear waters, the Lac de Montbel is a magnificent place for your romantic picnics, your group hikes and your family getaways. The site is renowned for its mountain bike route.

800 m from your accommodation in Ariège is a small river of 39.2 km which has its source in Caychax and ends in Lagarde.

The Touyre river is a splendid place where you can take beautiful walks, or rest on the rocks and breathe relaxation. It is possible to refresh yourself there. Tables are available to enjoy the time of a picnic.

The greenway is only 6 kilometers from the campsite. This is the old railway line transformed into a path for walking, horseback riding, mountain biking or VTC.

38 km long, its route from Mirepoix to Lavelanet reveals the natural sides that you never see by the traditional road. It's a bit behind the scenes. But what a setting!

Just 6 km from your campsite is the village of Camon.

Camon is located in the far east of the Ariège department, in the meander formed by the Hers river.

Recognized for its cultural richness and heritage, Camon attracts a good number of visitors every year. The Rose Festival in May is enjoying increasing popular success. This event has become a must at the regional level. The plants proposed by the town hall and private plantations created at its last edition, a floral universe of around 400 roses.

Mirepoix is a small town in the south of France located on the Ariège in the Midi-Pyrénées region.

It is distinguished by the architecture of its half-timbered houses which form very beautiful covered galleries.
